Yard/Forklift Operative

About the Role

TJ O'Mahony, located in Oranmore, Deerpark Industrial Estate, Galway, part of HPC Sales Ltd., an established leader in Ireland's Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY sector, is seeking a committed and skilled Yard Operative/Forklift Driver for a permanent full-time position within their team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick and complete customer sales orders, package deliveries securely, and handle all related warehouse paperwork accurately for each dispatch.
• Safely load and unload trucks with materials, ensuring all health and safety protocols are observed as per company policy.
• Accurately record and store stocks and incoming deliveries within the warehouse.
• Support warehouse operations to uphold smooth workflow and productivity.
• Relocate and stack materials using correct manual handling methods.
• Inspect finished product packages to confirm closure, seal integrity, and correct label placements.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a valid forklift operating license (essential).
• Proficiency in computer usage required.
• Display a friendly and cooperative demeanor.
• Possess a full driving license.
