Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Safely guide and maneuver vehicles within the yard and workshop areas while adhering to designated timeframes and instructions.
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming vehicles, noting any damages or malfunctions; report findings appropriately including completing all related company documentation.
- Collect, transport, and park vehicles following all regulations, including speed limits and safety guidelines.
- Assist with loading vehicles by marshalling them and provide jump-start support as required.
- Carry out inventory stock checks, procure fuel for yard operations, and refuel vehicles as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Possession of a valid manual driver’s license is mandatory.
- Keen attention to detail coupled with a strong safety-first mindset.
- Basic automotive mechanical and electrical knowledge or aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- A genuine passion for automobiles and eagerness to develop professionally within this sector.
