Role Overview

This position is an independent contractor role offering flexible working hours and a variable workload. The position is remote/field-based serving the Bairnsdale/Lakes Entrance region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visits at learners' workplaces to observe and evaluate their practical Early Childhood Education skills and competencies.
• Verify task completion meets required standards through direct observation.
• Engage with workplace supervisors to confirm learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Complete and submit assessment documentation promptly following visits.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess relevant Early Childhood Education qualifications, minimum Certificate IV, with Diploma preferred.
• Maintain current vocational competence and industry relevance within Early Childhood Education.
• Hold experience in assessment or a Certificate IV TAE40122 in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Capability to travel locally to various workplaces for conducting assessments.
