Job Overview

The Banking Operations division at Avaloq functions as a strategic service provider delivering back-office banking services through a Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) model. This global segment operates advanced back-office services maintaining top-tier standards in automation, quality, and risk management. Our expert teams handle varied services such as securities, payments, regulatory tasks, master data, corporate actions, and tax processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations across multiple teams, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Oversee, plan, and execute daily tasks aligned with service level agreements with clients.
• Contribute to testing new features and managing routine system releases.
• Participate in projects implementing legal regulatory requirements and new technical innovations.
• Support enhancements of the Avaloq core banking system and operational processes to boost efficiency and minimize risks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in economics or a related program containing economic components.
• Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
• Capacity to work flexibly under pressure.
• Analytical thinking and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Independent and structured work approach in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
• Quick comprehension of new concepts and meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluency in both German and English, both written and spoken.

Desirable additional experience includes familiarity with banking operations such as securities, corporate actions, or client master data management, hands-on use of the Avaloq core banking system, and knowledge of process optimization techniques.
