Wireman

Overview

We are looking to recruit Wiremen and Helpers for a leading broadband company based in Delhi-NCR. Candidates from freshers to experienced broadband installation professionals are encouraged to apply. The work involves deploying and maintaining optical fiber cables as well as carrying out related electrical wiring tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, pull, and secure optical fiber cables (OFC) across poles, buildings, and public infrastructure.
• Perform occasional fiber splicing via fusion or mechanical methods and conduct tests using OTDR or optical power meters.
• Help identify and repair fiber cuts or drop issues to reduce downtime.
• Support Network Engineers with last-mile copper cable installation, including overhead routing to customer premises.
• Carry out basic wireman duties such as stripping, crimping, clipping, and securing copper and LAN cables.
• Safely transport tools, ladders, and equipment across various field sites.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational qualifications: 10th pass, 12th pass, ITI, Diploma in Electrical, Wireman, or related certifications.
• Age range between 18 and 35 years.
• Helpers and Wiremen with broadband installation experience or freshers are eligible.
• For Wireman role: must possess own bike and driving license.

Compensation and Benefits

• Helper role salary: INR 18,000 per month (in hand), plus Provident Fund (PF) and Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) benefits. No bike required.
• Wireman role salary: INR 20,110 per month (in hand), plus PF and ESIC benefits. Bike and driving license mandatory.
