ITA International is hiring a qualified professional in Qatar to serve as a Wing Information/Personnel/Industrial Security Support Professional.
Role summary
This position supports the 9th Air Force, part of United States Air Force Central Command (AFCENT), which oversees activities across the Middle East. The role provides specialized support to the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron and contributes to base security and related mission support in a high-priority regional environment. The 9th Air Force also operates in locations including Al Dhafra AB in the UAE, Ali Al Salem AB in Kuwait, Al Mubarak Air Base in Kuwait, Prince Sultan AB in Saudi Arabia, Muwaffaq-Salti AB in Jordan, Al Udeid AB in Qatar, and within CONUS.
Responsibilities
- Carry out yearly staff assistance visits for wing, installation, and affiliated units to help commanders manage information security and personnel security programs effectively.
- Offer technical direction to security managers on all elements of program execution.
- Recommend countermeasure approaches for security processes.
- Design and deliver formal classroom instruction for agency security managers.
- Perform annual industrial security inspections of contractors who handle classified material on behalf of the Wing Commander.
- Assess program compliance against applicable standards, policies, and directives.
- Investigate, analyze, and report security violations and any impact on classified operations.
- Create metrics for violation tracking and trend analysis.
- Draft implementation guidance and policy for the personnel security program.
- Review and route all personnel security investigations (PSI), assess requests for new special information files, and maintain tracking records.
- Conduct wing-level reviews of personnel security managers to verify proper PSI processing and completion of assigned program responsibilities.
- Support contingency operations by performing duties assigned by the contract program manager.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing wing-level information protection, security, personnel security, and industrial security programs.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
- Successful completion of all medical screening in line with CENTCOM deployment standards.
- Must pass a detailed background check under the 9AF ESFS contract.
- Applicants must not have pending criminal or civil matters, including divorce or child custody cases.
- Applicants must not have any felony arrest history.
- No alcohol-related arrest within the past 5 years.
- No record or history of moral turpitude offenses, including prostitution, pandering, voyeurism, or public indecency.
- No involvement in hate crimes.
- No history of violence.
- No association with any group or organization that promotes extralegal violence as a means to achieve objectives.
