WinBatch Automation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a solid background in enterprise automation and platform modernization. The ideal candidate will take lead on large-scale projects migrating legacy WinBatch automation to modern C#/.NET frameworks.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Lead and execute automation migration programs from WinBatch/legacy systems to C#/.NET platforms.
• Design and implement automation solutions adhering to coding best practices, effective logging, exception handling, and retry logic.
• Develop scalable C# implementations incorporating translated WinBatch logic.
• Manage automation outputs and data validation through robust MS SQL data modeling.
• Develop and maintain supporting scripts and utilities in Python as needed.
• Handle JSON-based inputs and outputs facilitating configuration-driven automation workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on IT experience focused on enterprise automation and platform upgrading.
• Strong proficiency with C#, .NET framework, and Windows automation environments.
• Extensive knowledge of WinBatch scripting and its logical translation into C#.
• Experience with MS SQL server, data modeling, and output verification within automation contexts.
• Working familiarity with Python scripting for supplementary automation tasks.
• Proven ability to work with JSON data structures for dynamic automation design.
