Role Overview
As a Whiteware Specialist located at Wairau Park in Auckland, your primary responsibility is to serve as the expert on kitchen appliances including cooktops, ovens, rangehoods, dishwashers, and related products. This role demands active engagement with customers in a dynamic, sales-oriented setting, where you provide personalized advice, conduct product demonstrations, and assist in shaping customers' ideal kitchen solutions.
Working Hours
- Monday: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Sunday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assess customer needs to recommend customized whiteware options
- Keep thorough knowledge of varied kitchen appliances
- Generate quotes, manage invoicing, and assist with installation and post-sale support
- Coordinate with suppliers and service agencies to resolve client questions
- Deliver engaging, informative in-store product demonstrations
- Maintain an appealing and professional department appearance
- Work collectively with teammates to achieve sales targets and nurture a positive retail atmosphere

- Confidence in a sales-driven environment with a passion for customer assistance
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide fitting appliance solutions
- Enthusiasm for quality products, excellent service, and keeping updated with kitchen technology trends
- Motivated by meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Prior experience with appliances is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training is provided given the right mindset
