Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a French language interpreter working from home on a permanent basis. The role involves enabling smooth communication between customers and clients through live interpretation support.
Work Setup
The job is fully remote and open for candidates across India. The schedule follows a 5-day work week with 2 rotational offs.
Core Responsibilities
- Support clear communication between customers and clients by acting as a language interpreter.
- Interpret live conversations during telephone or video interactions as and when required.
- Deliver accurate meaning in consecutive interpretation mode between speakers using Nepali, French, Gujrati, and English.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be graduates or above. The maximum age limit for this role is 38 years.
Skills Needed
- Strong command of English and French communication
- Good listening ability and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency
- Comfort with night-shift work
- Willingness to participate in video meetings with clients
Salary
The compensation range is INR 4.2 LPA to INR 10 LPA, depending on the candidate’s previous salary and relevant experience.
