Welder

Role Overview

The welder will be directly involved in producing according to current orders and projects under the guidance of the production foreman. Duties include repairing metal product parts and fabricating new components from technical blueprints using specialized equipment. The role requires inspecting and selecting appropriate materials and conducting visual and dimensional quality checks on finished parts.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and manufacture components to meet order requirements.
• Interpret and comprehend plans, technical drawings, and instructions to process materials accurately.
• Efficiently operate and calibrate work machinery and equipment.
• Utilize various tools relevant to welding tasks.
• Understand and apply different welding techniques associated with the position.
• Ensure end products comply with quality standards and specified dimensions.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures, particularly when handling equipment.
• Maintain technical functionality and cleanliness of the work environment.
• Report any defects, malfunctions, or non-conformities promptly to the production foreman.
• Perform any additional related duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a DEP (Diplôme d'études professionnelles) in welding and assembly.
• Have between 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar welding position.
• Proficient in welding processes including SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), GMAW/MIG (metal inert gas welding), GTAW/TIG (tungsten inert gas welding), and FCAW (flux-cored arc welding).

Working Conditions
