Role Overview

This contract-based Web Developer position is located onsite in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves designing, developing, and sustaining web applications that enhance the team's digital platforms such as property searches, agent profiles, and tools for clients. Daily tasks include crafting front-end user interfaces, creating back-end functionalities, API integration, enhancing performance, and ensuring the website adapts seamlessly to different devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing responsive front-end interfaces using modern technologies.
  • Implementing back-end logic including API development, database handling, and server-side programming.
  • Collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Optimizing the performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility of web applications.
  • Maintaining high code quality with secure development standards.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Strong skills in front-end development, including JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and responsive web design techniques.
  • Proficiency in full-stack web development encompassing back-end programming, API creation, database management, and deployment.
  • Knowledgeable in version control systems like Git and contemporary development workflows.
  • Experience implementing accessibility standards and secure coding practices in web environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical solutions effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Prior exposure to client-focused industries is advantageous.
