About the Role

The Water Regulations Officer plays a key part in supporting the Bureau of Meteorology's core responsibilities under the Water Act 2007 and Water Regulations 2008 by managing and facilitating the collection, oversight, and dissemination of national water data.

Acting as a regulator, the Bureau partners with water data providers and users to promote efficient data submission, reduce regulatory burdens, and ensure public access to valuable water information.
