About the Role
We are seeking a passionate water aerobics instructor to lead group fitness sessions at an outdoor heated pool facility located in Sun City West. Classes take place at 9 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Each 60-minute session pays $40.00, with an average of five participants per class.
Responsibilities
The instructor will be responsible for designing and conducting energetic, customized fitness sessions that align with our brand's standards. Sessions should include a diverse range of innovative and scientifically grounded exercises, providing an engaging and fun experience for all participants. The instructor must be able to clearly communicate instructions to outdoor classes and closely monitor participants' movements while addressing any questions or concerns.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR/AED.
- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of previous experience, including group class instruction.
- Group Instructor Certification or experience working with individuals aged 55 and over is preferred.
- Strong vocal ability to direct outdoor classes effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and punctuality.
