Job description

Role Overview

Shalina Healthcare Ghana is looking for a Warehouse Officer/Supervisor to take charge of day-to-day warehouse activities and keep stock movement, storage, and dispatch running efficiently. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety and compliance, and coordinating staff so operations continue smoothly in support of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage routine warehouse work such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and releasing goods.
  • Check all incoming deliveries against the relevant paperwork and confirm quantities accurately.
  • Inspect stock for damage, shortages, or quality concerns and escalate findings as needed.
  • Assign duties to warehouse assistants and track their day-to-day performance.
  • Keep products stored in an orderly, secure, and standards-compliant manner.
  • Make sure order picking and packing are completed correctly and on time for customer or internal needs.
  • Carry out and oversee stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve stock variances.
  • Apply health and safety requirements consistently across warehouse activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security within the warehouse.
  • Oversee loading and offloading of trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
  • Liaise with logistics, procurement, and other teams to keep operations aligned.
  • Coach and develop warehouse staff to improve efficiency and overall performance.
  • Compile and present operational updates and reports to management.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is used properly and kept in good condition.
  • Handle additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of an HND or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. The role also requires 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity. Strong inventory control knowledge, familiarity with warehouse procedures, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana. The role involves warehouse leadership and operational oversight across both Accra and Kumasi as indicated in the title.
