Job description
Role Summary
The Warehouse Planning Specialist will be responsible for shaping inventory plans and warehouse material flow so production has the items it needs on time, while keeping stock levels efficient and avoiding unnecessary surplus.
What You’ll Do
- Plan inventory in a way that supports uninterrupted production material supply.
- Keep inventory records and planning data accurate and reliable.
- Set and fine-tune stock levels to reduce excess inventory.
- Work on improving overall warehouse productivity and flow.
Work Environment
- This position operates in an industrial setting dealing with raw materials, fabricated parts, and components.
- The role works closely with production and procurement teams.
- A key part of the job is balancing material availability against working capital efficiency.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Engineering is required.
- Professional experience of 3 to 6 years in warehouse planning or inventory control is expected.
- Hands-on knowledge of inventory planning methods such as minimum/maximum levels and safety stock is needed.
- Experience using ERP platforms is important, with SAP preferred.
