Warehouse Operator

About the Role

Join Baker Hughes as a Warehouse Operator at our Berrimah, Northern Territory location. In this role, you will be integral to delivering safe, reliable chemical products to our customers while maintaining high standards in warehouse operations and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing to verify that materials meet specified quality standards and prepare Certificates of Analysis (CofA).
• Collect QC samples in accordance with operational procedures.
• Manage unloading and loading of transport carriers as per sales and purchase orders.
• Support the maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 certification by assisting Plant Supervisors and Managers.
• Coordinate onsite quality control activities alongside corporate support teams.
• Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies including applying the five fundamentals of a perfect HSE day.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse adhering to storage standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Possess valid forklift operation license with relevant experience.
• Previous experience in quality control, logistics, warehouse, or inventory management environments.
• Ability to identify and resolve operational problems and implement improvements.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Computer proficient, familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Physically capable of handling heavy products and working in an active warehouse setting.
