Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager will take charge of end-to-day warehouse functions, covering goods receipt, storage, stock control, dispatch, and team oversight. The position is focused on keeping operations smooth, ensuring inventory records stay accurate, meeting safety requirements, delivering products on schedule, and controlling operating expenses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee routine warehouse workflows such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching items.
  • Use available space and warehouse resources efficiently.
  • Create and roll out warehouse rules, procedures, and working methods.
  • Track operational performance and drive improvements where needed.
  • Keep stock records accurate and maintain correct inventory levels.
  • Perform regular cycle counts as well as annual physical stock audits.
  • Review and resolve stock variances and inventory mismatches.
  • Work closely with procurement and sales teams to align stock availability.
  • Lead warehouse personnel, including supervisors, storekeepers, and forklift operators.
  • Allocate duties, monitor productivity, and support team performance.
  • Arrange training sessions and carry out performance reviews.
  • Ensure the warehouse is staffed appropriately for business needs.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities.
  • Support timely order completion and product deliveries.
  • Coordinate with transport vendors and suppliers.
  • Track shipment plans and handle delivery-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and UAE safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Conduct safety checks and implement corrective measures when required.
  • Ensure materials are stored and handled properly.
  • Prepare KPI dashboards and other operational reports.
  • Track inventory turnover, ageing stock, and warehousing costs.
  • Maintain complete records of warehouse transactions and stock movement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain will be considered an advantage.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in warehouse management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Background in FMCG, retail, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution is preferred.
  • Prior UAE experience is strongly preferred.

Additional Information

This role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is offered as a full-time, on-site position.
