Warehouse Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Warehouse Manager to supervise day-to-day warehouse functions within a food manufacturing setting located in Houston, TX. This role offers a starting pay of $20.00 per hour, with compensation commensurate with experience, and the opportunity to work any of the three shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

Key Responsibilities

• Managing warehouse staff and overseeing the workflow related to inventory control, receiving, and shipping.
• Implementing and monitoring FIFO/FEFO protocols and ensuring product traceability.
• Coordinating smoothly with various departments including Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Shipping to optimize operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse management or a supervisory capacity is mandatory.
• Experience working in food manufacturing environments, preferably with frozen foods, refrigerated products, or similar items like egg rolls.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory systems and control methods, including familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• A solid understanding of food safety regulations and GMP standards is required.
• Strong leadership capabilities alongside organizational and analytical problem-solving skills.
