Company Overview

HARAKA TRADERS-MWEA is an expanding trading and distribution company in Kenya that serves both local and regional buyers. Its operations depend on dependable warehouse and logistics processes that help keep products available and deliveries on time. The work environment is dynamic, with strong emphasis on operational precision, safe practices, and customer satisfaction. The organization also places importance on honesty, collaboration, and ongoing operational improvement.

Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site warehouse position in Kenya focused on managing day-to-day warehouse activities from goods receipt through to dispatch. The role requires careful handling of inventory, checking inbound and outbound stock, arranging storage areas efficiently, and keeping records up to date. The selected person will also handle routine documents such as delivery notes and stock summaries, ensure items are picked, packed, and loaded according to timelines and quality expectations, and support stocktaking and audits. In addition, the role works closely with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to address mismatches, prioritize urgent requirements, and improve workflow and space utilization.

Key Duties

The warehouse executive is expected to coordinate receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities, while maintaining accuracy and order across the warehouse. The role includes reconciling stock, completing basic inventory entries, preparing straightforward reports, and following established procedures. It also involves monitoring cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards, as well as helping with periodic stock counts, issue resolution, and smooth interdepartmental coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should bring solid hands-on knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory handling, storage management, dispatch coordination, and basic system/data entry tasks. Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail are important, along with the ability to work through multiple priorities in a busy setting. Good communication, teamwork, and an understanding of safety and housekeeping standards are also needed. Prior exposure to warehouse, logistics, or supply chain work would be beneficial. Basic numeracy and literacy are required, and a diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain, or a related area would be an added advantage. The job also requires the physical capability to perform warehouse duties and readiness for a full-time on-site schedule.
