Role Overview
The Warehouse Executive, based on-site in Bihar, is responsible for managing the day-to-day warehouse functions. Key duties include receiving goods, storage, packing, and dispatching while adhering to company standards and safety measures. The role requires monitoring inventory levels, ensuring the accuracy of records, and collaborating with internal departments, transporters, as well as customers to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries. Additionally, this position entails supervising warehouse personnel, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to process enhancements aimed at boosting operational efficiency and cost reduction. Preparation of regular reports, participation in audits, and compliance with company and regulatory policies are also expected.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficient in warehouse management and inventory oversight with the capability to manage large-scale stock accurately.
- Experienced in packing and handling materials with adherence to safe and standardized procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities to effectively interact with clients, transporters, and team members.
- Leadership skills to oversee workflows, enforce safety protocols, and support ongoing improvement efforts.
- Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or C&F functions, preferably within the cement or related sectors.
- Basic computer skills such as MS Excel and familiarity with warehouse or ERP software for reporting and data handling.
- Excellent organizational capabilities, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or comparable disciplines preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted.
