Exide Energy Solutions Limited is expanding rapidly with a mission to address energy, environmental, and resource challenges through lithium-ion battery manufacturing. The company is building India’s first giga plant for lithium-ion cells in Bengaluru and is hiring for internal logistics roles within its manufacturing setup at Devanahalli, Bangalore.

Role Summary
The organization is seeking experienced professionals for manufacturing support roles focused on warehouse automation and equipment reliability. The position covers both automated warehouse systems and manufacturing equipment maintenance, depending on the assignment.
Warehouse Automation & Maintenance (AM/DM)
- Oversee upkeep and dependable performance of warehouse automation and material-handling assets such as ASRS, AGVs, AMRs, RGVs, conveyors, cranes, hoists, lifts, forklifts, pallet trucks, and stackers.
- Carry out preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance with the goal of keeping equipment available and operating efficiently.
- Diagnose issues in PLC, SCADA, HMI, WMS, WCS, VFD, servo drive, sensor, and related industrial automation setups.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes to prevent repeated failures.
- Use vibration studies, thermal scans, and IoT-enabled monitoring tools to support predictive maintenance activities.
- Work with original equipment manufacturers for installation, commissioning, upgrades, and technical troubleshooting.
- Handle spare-parts stock planning as well as maintenance logs and records.
- Use SAP, ERP, and MES platforms for maintenance planning, progress tracking, reporting, and equipment performance review.
- Experience with automated raw-material and finished-goods warehouses, especially those handling lithium-ion battery systems, is preferred.
Warehouse Equipment Engineer (AM/DM)
- Maintain equipment reliability and availability through preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
- Resolve faults in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems, and apply root cause analysis to stop repeat breakdowns.
- Support and optimize PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics, conveyors, and automated production assets.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, validation, and fine-tuning of new equipment and automation lines.
- Track asset performance using OEE, MTBF, and MTTR, and drive reliability improvement actions.
- Maintain spare parts, service records, and equipment history through SAP, ERP, CMMS, or MES systems.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree. Only candidates with engineering qualifications will be considered. The role requires 6 to 15 years of relevant experience.
