Role overview
A busy and fast-growing business is hiring a dependable Warehouse Assistant for an immediate start as it enters a peak period. The company is a major player in the clothing and apparel sector, known for supplying high-quality workwear for business and hospitality use.
What you will do
You will be trained on the employer’s picking approach, but the role suits someone who already has experience in a busy packing or pick-pack setting. Background in clothing, apparel, or workwear warehousing would be especially useful.
What the employer is looking for
- Hands-on experience in pick packing, ideally in a KPI-focused environment
- Previous success meeting pick-pack targets would be a strong advantage
- Exposure to RF scanning is highly desirable
- Experience using pallet jacks is preferred
- Access to your own car and valid driver’s licence
- Steel-capped boots and a safety vest are required
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical fitness and a solid work ethic
- Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly with the team
