Role Overview

The Cargo Revenue Accounting position focuses on checking and validating cargo-related billing and accounting records. The work involves reviewing AWB data against physical or scanned documents, applying airline cargo revenue rules, and supporting accurate invoicing and reconciliation across stations.

Key Work Areas

• Review cargo revenue accounting data, including sales accounting, interline accounting, and mail accounting processes.
• Work with SIS and CASS invoice processing and handling.
• Examine AWB details in depth, such as gross weight, chargeable weight, tariff values, SHC codes, and product codes, and verify them against scanned or physical AWB copies.
• Compare and validate information captured in the cargo operations and revenue accounting systems.
• Apply business rules to ensure the AWB is rated correctly in the system.
• Use appropriate exception handling when invoicing customers across different network stations.
• Assign the correct rate to AWBs, including standard tariff, contract tariff, and ad hoc pricing.
• Raise queries and update records wherever corrections are needed.
• Manage interline invoices and respond to rejections received through SIS.
• Support CASS reconciliation activities.
• Communicate with stations, agents, and airlines to resolve billing and accounting issues.

Eligibility

Applicants must be graduates from any discipline.
