Role Summary
The Talent Enablement Partner will help shape and execute the bank’s talent management strategy while also handling broad HR generalist responsibilities. This position supports workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, retention, and engagement efforts. The role requires strong program leadership, analytical ability, and close collaboration with leadership teams to align HR initiatives with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic talent programs covering development, succession planning, performance improvement, retention, and engagement.
- Support learning and development initiatives by assessing needs and building programs that strengthen employee capability.
- Lead HR projects and programs from planning through delivery with strong structure and execution discipline.
- Use HR data, metrics, and reporting to surface insights, guide strategy, and assess program impact.
- Prepare presentations and reports for HR partners and senior leaders.
- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors to ensure effective service delivery and business outcomes.
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with relevant regulations and that audit and regulatory documentation is properly maintained.
- Help cultivate a workplace culture centered on inclusion, employee wellbeing, and diversity.
- Act as a strategic HR partner to assigned leaders on organizational issues, employee relations, offboarding, and division culture.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings deep HR experience in financial services or banking, especially in talent management and HR generalist work. The role calls for someone who can think strategically, manage complex initiatives, communicate effectively, and still handle hands-on execution within set timelines. Familiarity with banking regulations is an advantage, and experience in a regional bank is a plus.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of HR experience, with substantial exposure to talent management and generalist responsibilities in banking or financial services.
- Proven success designing and executing talent, learning, and employee engagement programs.
- Strong project and program management background with experience leading complex HR efforts.
- Experience working with outside consultants and vendors to support HR strategy.
- Solid analytical capability with comfort using HR metrics, KPIs, and reporting tools.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including advanced PowerPoint and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory expectations is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
- HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR is highly valued.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and disciplined follow-through.
Additional Information
The anticipated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000. Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other individualized factors.
