Job description

Role Summary

The Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions will own the design, packaging, pricing support, and operational launch of the company’s full solution portfolio. The focus of the role is to build scalable, modular, and turnkey supply chain offerings that match market demand, can be delivered effectively, and support financial goals.

This position acts as the hub connecting Sales, Strategy, Operations, Finance, and Technology so that every solution is commercially attractive, operationally viable, and aligned with the organization’s growth plan.

Solution Portfolio Strategy and Development

  • Define, evolve, and manage the company’s supply chain solution portfolio, covering turnkey, modular, and technology-led offerings.
  • Ensure solutions can be delivered either as individual services such as SaaS/technology, reverse logistics, or transportation, or as integrated end-to-end platforms.
  • Shape offerings to reflect market demand, customer pain points, and total addressable market opportunities.

Market and Client Alignment

  • Work with the Chief Strategy Officer and sales leadership to understand client needs, market shifts, and growth opportunities.
  • Spot capability gaps and lead the work needed to close them.
  • Keep solution design aligned with strategic sales priorities and broader growth initiatives.

RFP and Commercial Solution Leadership

  • Direct the end-to-end request for proposal response process across functions.
  • Bring together cross-functional inputs to ensure submissions are timely, accurate, and competitive.
  • Confirm operational feasibility, service expectations, and financial assumptions before submission.

Costing and Pricing Coordination

  • Partner with Solutions Costing and Finance to build reliable cost models.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Finance leaders on pricing approach.
  • Make sure pricing supports margin goals, market competitiveness, and client value.

Cross-Functional Development

  • Work alongside Operations to validate that proposed solutions can be executed in practice.
  • Coordinate with Technology and Product teams to ensure solution design fits system capabilities.
  • Confirm readiness for integration so implementations can succeed.

Standardization and Scalability

  • Create standardized solution frameworks that improve speed to market and repeatability.
  • Set design standards that strengthen scalability and operational efficiency.

  • Win rate and competitiveness of solution proposals
  • Accuracy and dependability of solution cost models
  • Speed and quality of RFP execution
  • Scalability of the solution and operational performance after launch
  • How well sold solutions match actual operational results

Ideal Experience

  • At least 12 years of experience in supply chain solution design, logistics engineering, or 3PL solution development.
  • Background leading RFP responses and complex commercial solution creation.
  • Strong financial judgment and experience with pricing strategy.
  • Solid understanding of integrated supply chain operations and technology enablement.
  • Proven ability to align cross-functional teams around executable solutions.
