Position Overview
A confidential company in the Stuttgart region is looking for a Vice President to take end-to-end ownership of Procurement and Supply Chain Management at an international level. This leadership role combines strategic direction, operational excellence, and cross-functional influence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall procurement and supply chain function across global operations.
- Design and roll out the worldwide procurement and SCM strategy.
- Strengthen category management and supplier relationship practices.
- Oversee strategic supplier negotiations and contract administration.
- Drive initiatives related to S&OP, inventory optimization, and working capital.
- Improve warehouse, transport, and distribution workflows.
- Build and advance KPI frameworks and performance management systems.
- Manage and develop both central and local teams.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership.
- Shape and deliver international transformation and change programs.
Candidate Profile
- Several years of leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Proven success in transforming international organizations.
- Solid background in category management and strategic purchasing.
- Strong expertise in supplier management and global negotiations.
- Experience managing complex end-to-end supply chains.
- Deep understanding of working capital, cost structures, and total cost of ownership.
- Excellent analytical ability with a data-led decision-making mindset.
- Experience setting up governance and performance structures.
- Leadership experience in international and matrix organizations.
- Business-level English is required; German is an advantage.
