VP of Project Management

Role overview

This is a senior, full-time remote position leading project management efforts for The Swatch Group Deutschland’s retail business. The person in this role will guide major programs and high-priority initiatives, making sure work stays aligned with business goals and is delivered with strong control over time, cost, and quality.

What you will do

You will oversee a portfolio of complex initiatives, coordinate teams across functions, and keep projects moving through clear structure, prioritization, and governance. The role calls for close tracking of progress, regular reporting, and active management of risks and dependencies.

You will work with senior leaders to connect project outcomes to broader strategic objectives, identify opportunities to improve processes, and help teams work more efficiently. A key part of the job is also coaching project managers and building a culture where accountability, collaboration, and open communication are part of everyday work.

Core capabilities

The position calls for strong experience in project and program management, especially in leading cross-functional work and handling multiple initiatives at once. It also requires solid analytical ability, financial oversight, and the skill to plan and deliver work against defined milestones and budgets.

Because this is a senior leadership role, you should bring substantial experience in strategic delivery, ideally in retail or a related sector, along with strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills. Comfort working remotely is also important.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related subject is expected. Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 would be considered an advantage.
