Job description
About the role
This is a high-impact leadership position for a seasoned HR executive who can shape the people agenda for a fast-growing scale-up expanding across markets. The role is central to the company’s next growth phase and requires someone who can design, lead, and operationalize a strong people and culture strategy.
As Vice President of Human Resources, you will be part of the leadership team and expected to contribute as a business partner, not only as a support function. The mandate includes building the frameworks, leadership pipeline, and organisational standards needed to scale effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Define and oversee the organisation-wide people and culture strategy.
- Contribute as a leadership-team peer in business decisions and company direction.
- Create the systems, talent bench, and operating standards required for growth at scale.
Experience and capabilities
- 15+ years of HR experience, including time at Director or VP level with end-to-end functional ownership.
- Proven track record of shaping and executing people strategy across the full employee lifecycle in a scaling environment.
- Strong expertise in organisational design, leadership development, succession planning, and total rewards.
- Experience guiding organisations through restructuring, mergers and acquisitions integration, rapid expansion, or major transformation.
- Ability to discuss people matters in commercial terms and present HR strategy as a business strategy at board level.
- Solid understanding of Singapore employment law, regional employment considerations, and corporate governance.
- Capability to lead, mentor, and grow senior HR teams and future leaders.
Success profile
- Has operated at HR Director or VP level with full ownership of the function.
- Leads with sound judgment and values, rather than relying solely on process.
- Is motivated by working with a board that treats people strategy as a core business lever.
Compensation
The package is positioned at a senior executive level and is described as competitive, reflecting the scope and responsibility of the mandate.
