Role overview

This opportunity is for an entrepreneurial commercial leader to spearhead growth across Southeast Asia for a fast-scaling AdTech and AI business based in Singapore. The role carries ownership of the regional go-to-market approach, the commercial pipeline, and the SEA P&L, while building market share among media agencies, programmatic buying teams, and enterprise advertisers.

Core responsibilities

You will lead the regional growth agenda, guide a high-performing commercial team, and shape the company’s market position as a premium alternative to traditional targeting approaches. The role also involves driving enterprise revenue, strengthening partnerships with agencies, and working closely with internal product, data science, and operations teams to align customer needs with platform development.

Commercial strategy and execution

  • Develop and implement the growth plan for the company’s AI-led offerings across Southeast Asia.
  • Take end-to-end accountability for SEA revenue performance and the commercial pipeline, with a focus on steady quarter-on-quarter expansion.
  • Build market understanding of the platform as a premium option to conventional targeting methods.

Agency ecosystem and brand partnerships

  • Build senior-level relationships and negotiate framework agreements with major global media holding companies and independent agencies in the region.
  • Create new enterprise revenue by selling directly to CMOs and growth leaders in FMCG, banking and finance, and pharma/healthcare.
  • Use existing joint ventures and major SSP/DSP integrations to expand cross-sell opportunities and increase programmatic revenue.

Team leadership and regional capability building

  • Hire, manage, and mentor Regional Growth Managers and Account Directors across SEA.
  • Develop a strong, data-led, consultative sales culture focused on solving complex digital marketing and identity challenges.
  • Partner with global product, data science, and operations teams to feed SEA customer insights into platform and engineering improvements.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial leadership experience in AdTech, programmatic, SaaS, or digital media agency environments, along with deep knowledge of the SEA market. Success in this role also depends on a solid professional network, strong technical understanding of modern advertising infrastructure, and a demonstrated ability to scale growth in fast-moving environments.

Experience and background

  • At least 12 years of commercial leadership experience in AdTech, programmatic, SaaS, or digital media holding agencies.
  • Minimum 5 years in a regional growth or commercial leadership role within Southeast Asia.
  • Proven track record of scaling an early- or mid-stage technology product from regional beginnings to millions in ARR, or of delivering ambitious growth targets in a high-growth setting.
  • Strong entrepreneurial outlook and comfort operating in a rapidly evolving AI-driven environment.

Technical knowledge and market network

  • Strong understanding of the programmatic supply chain, including DSP and SSP mechanics.
  • Working knowledge of contextual advertising, data clean rooms, and identity solutions in a cookie-free environment.
  • Well-established relationships with senior stakeholders at media agencies, programmatic desks, and leading consumer brands across Southeast Asia.
