Role Overview
This opportunity is presented on behalf of a partner company, managing all application processes and subsequent steps. The role is based in the United Kingdom and seeks a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for a dynamic, fast-growing technology enterprise operating fully remotely across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the FP&A function globally, offering strategic financial oversight across multiple business units and international territories.
- Design, develop, and refine financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans to facilitate sustainable growth.
- Provide comprehensive financial analyses, including scenario planning, key performance indicator reporting, and insights on business results to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and senior management on strategic initiatives including capital deployment, investment assessments, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Maintain effective relationships with investors and executive stakeholders by preparing detailed executive reports, board materials, and financial updates.
- Champion continuous enhancements in financial reporting, planning methodologies, analytical processes, and operational efficiency using data-driven approaches.
- Lead and mentor a remote, high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Facilitate organizational decision-making by identifying financial risks and opportunities that maximize long-term value creation.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant FP&A experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; advanced qualifications such as an MBA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Significant experience in high-growth global sectors including software, technology, fintech, SaaS, or payment services.
- Demonstrated success working within private equity-supported companies, collaborating directly with investors and executive leaders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, and strategic financial evaluation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying insights effectively to executives, boards, and investors.
- Proven leadership ability managing distributed teams in remote contexts, developing talent and team effectiveness.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities, business insight, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- A collaborative leadership approach with expert stakeholder management, organizational strengths, and a proactive ownership mindset.
