Job description

About the company

Manex AI is working to bring autonomy to major organizations and is developing autonomous factory solutions. Following a seed round backed by Lightspeed and BlueYard and early wins with leading enterprise manufacturing customers, the company is now expanding its operations across all functions.

Role overview

As Vice President of Customer Success, you will be responsible for ensuring that Manex AI creates measurable value on the factory floor, starting with pilot projects and extending through worldwide deployments. This role combines senior-level project leadership with strong knowledge of production and data. You will help shape the team and the client relationships that convert the platform into long-term customer outcomes. Customers already include BMW, Audi, BSH, Stellantis, Liebherr, Still, TDK Electronics, and Henkel. From day one, you will work with major enterprise accounts, influence key company decisions, and help build autonomous factories together with them.

This is a high-impact, full-time leadership role based in Munich. It calls for strong personal ownership, a strategic and analytical way of thinking, high motivation, and a collaborative drive to succeed.

Key responsibilities

  • Take charge of complex customer engagements and ensure successful delivery from early pilot stages through to global deployment.
  • Coordinate project execution and oversee integration efforts across different industries.
  • Support, coach, and align sales, operations, and technical partners within cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Develop strong, durable relationships with enterprise stakeholders at all levels, from shop-floor teams to executive leadership.
  • Lead the growth and development of the Customer Impact Team in a strategic way.
  • Contribute actively to the evolution of the business model and the product direction.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field; a PhD in an industry-related discipline is considered a strong advantage. You should bring 5 to 10 years of professional experience in consulting, automotive, manufacturing, or technology. A solid understanding of AI, software, and production workflows is important, along with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders. You must be business-fluent in both German and English and either be based in Munich or be willing to relocate there, with a readiness to commit fully to the role.

What the role offers

  • The chance to lead a high-caliber team in a truly meaningful position.
  • Market-leading compensation paired with an equity component.
  • Access to an exceptional network spanning funding, industry, and talent across Europe and the United States.
  • A fast-moving environment supported by top-tier investors and serving world-leading customers.

Additional information

The position is a full-time, onsite leadership role in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The employer is looking for someone prepared to take on a high level of responsibility and help scale European autonomy at significant pace.
