Volunteer Baker to Spread Kindness in Blenheim Community

About the Role

Good Bitches Baking is looking for dedicated bakers in Blenheim, Marlborough, to help share kindness through baking within the local community. Volunteers are encouraged to prepare a batch of baked goods once a month, selecting any recipe they prefer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake one batch of baked items monthly, based on your choice.
• Deliver the baked goods either on Monday or Wednesday to the assigned recipient organization.
• Complete a monthly availability survey to help coordinate baking schedules.

Requirements and Expectations

• Be reliable and trustworthy in fulfilling commitments.
• Have access to personal transport to deliver baking directly to recipient organizations.
• Provide your own baking ingredients; a cake box for delivery and an ingredients flyer (to note contents and include a friendly message) will be supplied.
• No prior professional baking experience or large budget needed—care and thoughtfulness are the essential ingredients.

Time Commitment and Locations

This position requires a commitment to bake once monthly. All recipient organizations supported by this initiative are located in Blenheim. Some include Heart Kids NZ, Alzheimers Blenheim, Hospice Marlborough, and Women's Refuge.
