About the Role

PitStop Productions is searching for a highly driven Pre-Production Assistant to join the Voiceover and Performance Capture team at our South Yorkshire head office. This position involves supporting the department amid rising project demands by providing organisational and administrative assistance. It's suited for individuals eager to develop a career in production management, whether they are new to the field or have prior relevant experience. Candidates with more background may experience faster advancement as they demonstrate their skills.

The successful applicant will assist senior team members, uphold excellent organisational practices, and contribute fresh ideas to enhance workflows and methodologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and breakdown scripts to gather essential metrics and data for project estimation.
  • Prepare necessary assets and documentation for both recording and post-production phases.
  • Track and monitor the progress throughout recording and post-production activities.
  • Report any production delays or issues to senior team members promptly.
  • Assist with generating casting materials and sending casting calls to talent agencies.
  • Organize and manage auditions, collate audition files, and communicate with talent agencies about actor availability.
  • Contribute to the creation of efficient recording schedules and handle booking and contracting of actors.
  • Produce call sheets and preparation scripts for talent, and coordinate with external studios as required.
  • Support other team members with various ad-hoc tasks when needed.

  • Accurate mathematical skills.
  • Understanding of various video game genres, tones, and styles.
  • Desired but not mandatory: experience in voice recording, post-production editing, casting processes, project management, and knowledge of effective voice acting performances.

Additional Information

The position is full-time and permanent with working hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. The office is located in Dodworth, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S75 3TZ. Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate to attend on-site work. Salary ranges between £26,300 and £27,750 per year depending on experience.
