About The Role
Join Alignerr as a Voice Over Artist specializing in Irish English to assist a leading AI speech research initiative. This contract position involves a limited number of in-studio recordings, aimed at helping artificial intelligence systems more accurately recognize and interpret natural Irish English speech. Your voice will contribute to advancing how AI understands authentic spoken language rather than being cloned.
Responsibilities
- Perform natural, conversational Irish English speech recordings in a professional studio setting.
- Engage in both single-speaker and dual-speaker dialogue recording sessions.
- Deliver speech that is realistic, human-like, and unscripted in appearance.
- Adapt tone, pacing, and delivery style following light directions.
- Exhibit energy, authenticity, and professionalism throughout the recording sessions.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a voice actor or voice-over artist.
- A native or near-native Irish English accent, authentic to the region.
- Currently residing in Ireland with an accent matching the local market.
- Comfortable performing natural conversation and dialogue recording beyond scripted reads.
- Dependable, professional demeanor with openness to direction.
- Proficient in English to facilitate communication and scheduling.
Additional Preferences
- Experience or background in acting, performance, or theatre arts.
- Prior exposure to broadcast, podcasting, or professional studio recording environments.
- Ability to deliver improvised or naturalistic dialogue effectively.
