Role overview

Kelco Communications is hiring an energetic and ambitious Business Development Executive to support Vodafone’s SME sales growth in Kerry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys winning new accounts, nurturing client relationships, and succeeding in a target-driven environment. The position offers an OTE of €50,000+ along with uncapped commission and a company car.

What you will do

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the small and medium-sized enterprise market.
  • Develop durable relationships with both prospective and existing customers.
  • Assess client requirements and recommend Vodafone solutions that are suited to their needs.
  • Showcase and explain a broad portfolio of offerings, including mobile, broadband, IoT, and related services.
  • Handle the sales process end to end, from lead generation through to deal closure.
  • Work consistently toward sales goals and aim to exceed them.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the sales journey.
  • Coordinate with internal colleagues to support smooth onboarding and reliable service delivery.
  • Keep up to date with market movement and competitor activity.

Skills and experience sought

The ideal candidate will already have some background in B2B sales; telecoms exposure is helpful but not required. Success in this role calls for confident communication, strong negotiation ability, and a genuine drive to achieve results. You should be capable of building trust with clients, staying well organised, managing time effectively, and working comfortably with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office. A full, clean Irish driving licence is essential.
