Job description

Role overview

As a Visual Merchandiser at H&M in Rundle Mall, you will help shape a consistent and engaging store experience by applying visual presentation standards and supporting commercial performance. Your work will align with the brand’s values and contribute to both customer satisfaction and business results.

What you will do

  • Carry out visual presentation, commercial planning, and styling updates according to store routines and seasonal calendars to improve the shopping experience and support sales.
  • Review sales results, keep stock availability healthy, maintain proper garment condition, and spot key visual and commercial opportunities together with store leadership.
  • Use knowledge of trends and competitors to coach the store team so they can deliver a stronger customer experience.
  • Act as a positive representative of both yourself and the brand in every customer interaction.
  • Assist Sales Market with store expansion activities and related projects.

How you will work with others

You will be part of the store team, working alongside Sales Advisors, Department Managers, Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, Cash Office Responsible, Delivery Responsible, and other Visual Merchandisers in larger stores. You will also collaborate with the wider area team across stores to share ideas and contribute to overall success.

The ideal candidate brings practical visual merchandising and commercial experience in a fast-paced setting, along with a problem-solving mindset. You should know how to work with sales reports and understand the selling equation. The role also suits someone who is passionate about fashion, driven to create excellent in-store experiences, creative, curious, proactive, flexible, and comfortable leading and inspiring others through clear communication.
