Role overview
The company is seeking an experienced Visual Commercial Merchandiser with a strong eye for styling and a genuine interest in engaging with people.
Responsibilities
- Track seasonal fashion trends and identify important items in the current assortment, including key and must-have pieces, while staying aware of company and market trends.
- Handle mannequins correctly and dress them in line with company standards and procedures.
- Create mannequin displays and style them into key looks that reflect the current collection, following setup guidelines.
- Understand how commercial choices affect store performance and be able to evaluate the impact of those decisions.
- Suggest and implement creative visual ideas across the store.
- Support other store operations when required, such as shop floor activity and housekeeping.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fashion retail is preferred.
- Strong visual taste and creative thinking.
- Well-organised and systematic working style.
- Good leadership and management capabilities.
- Must be able to work 44 hours per week.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays in a shift-based retail schedule.
- Store operations may begin as early as 7:00 am and end as late as 11:00 pm.
Work schedule
This is a full-time, onsite role with retail shift timings. The weekly commitment is 44 hours, and working hours can include early morning starts and late evening finishes.
Additional information
The job requires flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays. It also involves shifting duties between visual merchandising and wider store support as needed.
