About the Role
Ares Interactive is hiring a contract Visual & Motion Designer to support marketing and creative production across its game portfolio.
This role involves producing a broad range of eye-catching visual materials, including attention-grabbing video ads and refined app store graphics. The ideal candidate should have strong design instincts, advanced skills in After Effects and Photoshop, and a willingness to use AI to improve speed and creative output.
What You’ll Do
- Create and edit attention-focused video advertisements for social platforms, ad networks, and other marketing channels.
- Develop marketing creatives for mobile games, including performance statistics visuals and App Store Optimization assets.
- Partner with the Creative Manager to turn UA feedback and performance data into practical creative ideas.
- Build every asset with its intended use in mind, emphasizing clarity, contrast, and engagement to improve results.
- Use and experiment with AI tools to speed up production and support fresh creative thinking.
Requirements & Background
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates both motion design and static design work, ideally for mobile apps or games.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
- Good grasp of core design principles, especially color theory, contrast, and composition.
- Hands-on experience making marketing materials for the mobile gaming or app ecosystem, such as ASO graphics, video ads, and statics.
- Experience creating and working within AI-assisted workflows.
Nice to Have
- 3D production skills with tools such as Blender or Maya.
- Experience using Unity to capture gameplay footage.
