Alstin Capital is an early-stage venture capital fund located in Munich, Germany, specializing in B2B software startups. We invest initial amounts between 2 and 8 million euros in rapidly expanding Seed and Series A B2B software businesses across Europe. Our approach emphasizes comprehensive support beyond funding, including expertise in sales, public relations, marketing, and growth strategies to help our portfolio companies thrive.
Role Overview
We invite you to join our investment team as a Visiting Analyst (Intern). In this role, you will contribute to identifying promising B2B startup investment prospects throughout Europe. Working closely with our dedicated and experienced deal team, you will be engaged in every stage of the investment lifecycle—from sourcing opportunities to exit strategies. Additionally, you will assist with portfolio transactions and build your knowledge and network within our focus sectors.
Responsibilities
- Support the investment team in sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in managing investment processes, including due diligence and transaction activities.
- Collaborate with the team on portfolio company transactions and growth initiatives.
- Develop expertise and expand professional networks within B2B software sectors.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated individual with excellent organizational abilities comfortable working independently.
- Eager to learn and adapt quickly across different industries and business models.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork skills with a modest and cooperative attitude.
- Effective communication skills and enjoys collaborative work environments.
- Proficient in data analysis as well as networking at industry events.
- Passionate about startups, venture capital, and emerging technology trends.
- Fluent in both English and German at a professional level.
- Exceptional academic achievements and/or prior experience in fast-paced or entrepreneurial settings.
- Participation in startup communities is considered advantageous.
Additional Information
- We offer a structured Visiting Analyst program that includes onboarding and regular feedback to prepare you for a VC/tech career.
- Our team operates from Munich, Germany.
- Start date aimed for the end of the third quarter of 2026, with priority given to candidates available as soon as possible; there is potential for filling a subsequent vacancy starting in Q4 2026.
- This is a part-time role with a commitment of six months.
