Role Overview

This is a full-time position for a Visa Consultant located in Trivandrum, Kerala, with a hybrid working arrangement that incorporates both in-office and remote work. The role centers on advising and supporting clients through visa and immigration procedures, closely reviewing eligibility, required documents, and timelines. Key duties include assessing client eligibility, preparing and scrutinizing visa applications, managing document verification, and maintaining meticulous client records. The consultant serves as a liaison between clients, educational entities, embassies, and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring continuous communication through meetings, phone calls, email, and digital channels. They are also responsible for staying informed on immigration law changes and contributing to process improvements, all while providing clear, ethical, and compliant advice throughout the visa application process.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate client eligibility and manage visa application preparations and submissions.
• Collect, verify, and organize necessary documentation for visa processing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client cases and communications.
• Communicate regularly with clients using various methods including face-to-face meetings, phone, email, and online platforms.
• Coordinate with educational institutions, embassies, and other stakeholders to facilitate visa processing.
• Keep abreast of changing immigration regulations and provide expert advisory services accordingly.
• Suggest and implement internal improvements to streamline visa consulting processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven understanding of immigration laws and visa application procedures relevant to international study and work.
• Hands-on experience in visa application preparation, documentation handling, and submission.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and stakeholder interactions.
• Previous exposure to consulting or advisory roles, ideally in education, immigration, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze regulations, maintain attention to detail, and handle multiple client cases simultaneously.
• Proficient with productivity and digital communication tools for case tracking and client management.
• A bachelor's degree in any discipline, with advantageous specializations such as international relations, law, or education.
• Experience in visa or overseas education consultancy; fluency in English and local languages is a plus.
