About the role

The organization is looking for a strategic, people-oriented Virtual Talent Development Manager to guide the progression, training, and performance improvement of virtual talents, digital influencers, AI-based personas, virtual characters, and digital humans. This role focuses on building development programs that strengthen character delivery, audience connection, brand consistency, and sustainable growth across several digital channels. The position is highly collaborative and requires close coordination with AI engineers, character designers, performers, content creators, marketers, animators, and product teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and roll out growth strategies for virtual characters, digital influencers, AI personas, and digital humans.
  • Build and oversee training systems that improve performance, communication style, audience engagement, and alignment with the brand.
  • Partner with creative, technical, and marketing teams to maintain a consistent character identity and support ongoing evolution.
  • Define character profiles, performance standards, behavioral expectations, and long-term development plans for virtual talents.
  • Track audience interaction, community response, and performance data to find areas for improvement and scaling opportunities.
  • Help plan content, appearances, campaigns, partnerships, and digital events featuring virtual talent.
  • Work alongside AI and conversation design specialists to improve interaction quality, authenticity, and audience engagement.
  • Handle project coordination, timelines, budgets, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Study market movement in virtual influencers, AI-generated personalities, digital humans, creator economies, and audience trends.
  • Contribute to partnerships, promotional activities, workshops, presentations, and industry-facing thought leadership around virtual talent development.

Requirements

  • A BA or MA in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Performing Arts, Business, or a related discipline; comparable professional experience may also be accepted.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in talent development, creator management, influencer marketing, digital media, entertainment, gaming, AI-enabled products, or similar fields.
  • Good understanding of audience engagement, personal branding, character building, and digital content ecosystems.
  • Hands-on exposure to virtual influencers, digital humans, AI-driven characters, creators, or interactive digital experiences.
  • Working knowledge of AI technologies, conversational systems, social media platforms, and emerging virtual talent spaces.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workstreams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organization, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience reviewing performance metrics and using data to improve engagement and growth outcomes.
  • A portfolio or track record showing successful development, management, or growth of digital brands, creators, characters, or media initiatives.
  • Strong command of English; additional languages will be an advantage.
