Job description
About the Company
Huzzle connects accomplished professionals with international businesses across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Its client base spans startups, digital agencies, and technology companies in sectors such as SaaS, MarTech, FinTech, and EdTech. The company places talent into full-time remote positions directly with client teams and continues to support them throughout the engagement.
Role Overview
This role is for a hospitality expert who can act as the main point of contact across a varied portfolio of boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts, and premium short-term rentals. It is a fully remote position with significant responsibility, combining classic guest-service coordination with the operational demands of modern short-stay accommodation. The successful candidate will manage the guest experience from reservation to checkout and help ensure every stay feels seamless and high quality.
Client Background
The hiring company is a fast-moving performance marketing and digital media agency focused on growth through strategic advertising and data-driven decision-making. Their work centres on lead generation, customer acquisition, and multi-channel campaign execution for clients in competitive global markets. The team uses analytics and proprietary optimisation tools to improve results and expand digital reach.
As a scale-up, the business promotes a collaborative remote setup where people are trusted to take ownership of complex work. The environment values adaptability, learning, and the ability to keep pace with changing digital trends, while supporting international growth and high-volume campaigns.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the first contact for guest enquiries, special requests, check-in coordination, and immediate troubleshooting.
- Manage calendars, availability, pricing alignment, and reservation updates across Guesty and Uplisting for a mixed property portfolio.
- Maintain listings and handle guest feedback on Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and Google to support the brand’s reputation.
- Work closely with on-site hotel teams and remote housekeeping or maintenance staff to keep turnovers running smoothly and properties guest-ready.
- Take care of OTA disputes, chargebacks, overbooking prevention, and detailed administrative documentation, including arrival reports.
- Provide dependable after-hours coverage for urgent guest communication and emergency situations in the evenings and on weekends.
Requirements
- Strong practical experience with Guesty and Uplisting is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience handling reservations and guest relations across both hotels or B&Bs and short-term rentals.
- Excellent English communication skills at native level, with a polished, warm, and professional tone in writing and speech.
- Availability to work in line with UK business hours, plus flexibility to monitor requests outside standard hours when needed.
- Solid knowledge of major OTAs such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia Group, including rate structures and dispute handling.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a complex portfolio independently.
Preferred Experience
- Prior use of pricing tools such as PriceLabs or Beyond Pricing.
- Exposure to hotel channel managers, especially SiteMinder.
Additional Information
This is a full-time independent contractor engagement. The position is remote and aligned to UK business hours, with evening and weekend availability required for urgent matters. The role is intended for a technical hospitality professional who can handle guest relations, booking operations, and platform management with minimal supervision.
Benefits

- Access to a community of high-performing professionals in the network.
- Support and guidance before and after placement.
- Compensation is tailored to the client and your preferences, with options matched to your goals.
