Videographer - Recipe Videos and Content Strategy

About the Role

Indian Weight Loss Diet (IWLD) is seeking a creative and meticulous Videographer to shoot high-quality recipe videos for its YouTube channel. This role involves not only capturing appealing and easy-to-follow weight loss recipes on camera but also assisting with planning and organizing recipe content aligned with IWLD’s dietary principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a content calendar for recipe videos for YouTube, Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
• Generate new recipe ideas based on IWLD diet guidelines, seasonal trends, festivals, and student feedback.
• Collect, document, and analyze recipe submissions from IWLD students, collaborating with cooks to test and perfect recipes before shooting.
• Ensure all recipes are fully finalized before filming, confirming that ingredients, presentation, and cooking steps meet quality standards.
• Prepare for shoots by confirming readiness of kitchen setup, equipment, and filming plans including thumbnail and short-form video moments.
• Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, tripods, gimbals, overhead setups, wireless microphones, and lighting equipment to capture quality video footage.
• Style food and arrange visual presentation to highlight appetizing, clean, and premium imagery that aligns with the brand.
• Implement camera techniques appropriate for engaging YouTube content, such as multiple angles, close-ups, wide shots, and vertical/horizontal formats.
• Coordinate closely with the content and editing teams, ensuring smooth communication on video requirements, footage delivery, and editing notes.
• Maintain equipment and manage daily backup of all footage, organizing and labeling files efficiently for easy post-production access.
• Ensure excellent audio and lighting quality to avoid noise, shadows, or poor exposure during recording sessions.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience handling cameras with specialization in food or recipe videography.
• Good understanding of lighting, audio, and camera framing techniques, including close-up and overhead shots.
• Familiarity with YouTube content formatting, including vertical videos for Shorts and Reels.
• Ability to collect and organize recipes from students and work collaboratively with cooks, presenters, and editors.
• Strong attention to detail, patience, and ability to maintain a clean and camera-ready kitchen environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills to align with various team members.
• Capability to work full-time onsite at Goa location, managing equipment and production processes efficiently.

Compensation

The salary offered for this role ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 40,000 per month.
