Job description
About Hyprwork and Role Overview
Hyprwork is an expanding company that manages direct-to-consumer brands in the health and wellness industry. This position supports the personal brand of Zainab Mounabbah, Hyprwork's Founder and CMO, recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. The work involves producing lifestyle, talking-head, and podcast-style videos that are finished to a professional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Film diverse video formats including lifestyle vlogs, daily routine clips, talking-head segments, and podcasts, functioning independently without a full crew.
- Manage complete post-production tasks such as video editing, color correction, audio enhancement, captioning, and adding motion graphics or lower thirds as necessary.
- Transform raw footage into polished long-form videos and short-form vertical clips suited for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Collaborate lightly on scripting and content planning to shape filming, aligning with Zainab's daily activities rather than following a rigid script.
- Organize and prepare filming equipment and handle shoot logistics including equipment rental when needed.
- Adjust work output according to a flexible and variable shooting schedule, with some weeks busier than others based on real-time needs.
- Maintain organized file management systems and provide quick and reliable delivery of raw and final video assets.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in Canada with the capability to shoot videos locally without needing relocation or visa sponsorship.
- Hands-on experience filming with skills in camera operation, framing, lighting, and capturing quality footage solo.
- Proficient with professional video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Background working with lifestyle vlogs, day-in-the-life and talking-head content, or podcast formats rather than only entertainment or brand campaign footage.
- Adaptability to an unstructured and changing filming schedule driven by the founder's activities instead of a production calendar.
- An intuitive sense for engaging personal-brand content, including video pacing, hooks, and authenticity.
- Self-driven, dependable, and comfortable working alongside a founder with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
- Previous work supporting a founder, creator, or public figure's personal brand video production.
- Willingness to travel occasionally later in the engagement, though not required during an initial trial phase.
- Familiarity with short-form video platform trends and best practices (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Experience in content related to health, wellness, or direct-to-consumer sectors.
Benefits and Terms
- Contractor/freelance position collaborating directly with a Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur.
- An introductory trial period to evaluate fit with potential for longer-term, more stable engagement.
- Opportunity to creatively lead a personal brand video format developed from the ground up.
- Compensation is paid in USD via Wise or other preferred digital wallets.
