Alpaca Health helps clinicians become founders, beginning with autism care. The company gives clinicians the tools to start and grow their own clinics through AI-driven software, payer contracting support, and complete back-office operations. Its mission is to move healthcare influence away from large consolidated organizations and back into the hands of clinicians.

Role Overview

This is a full-time position for a Video Storytelling Lead. Alpaca Health prefers candidates in New York City or people willing to relocate, with a preference for working in the office five days per week. Remote candidates are also considered.

The role is focused on building and scaling the company’s video storytelling system. You will shape the stories that help providers, families, partners, and future team members understand the brand. Through short-form social content, long-form documentaries, customer stories, founder-led content, webinars, and educational programs, you will help create a trusted and recognizable healthcare brand.

Success in this role means the company becomes known less through advertising and more through the stories it tells and the people who share them.

Story Development

  • Discover and shape strong stories from providers, families, employees, and partners.
  • Turn complicated topics into narratives that are easy to understand, memorable, and emotionally compelling.
  • Create a repeatable system for finding, developing, and producing stories at scale.
  • Work closely with leadership to define and refine the company narrative.

Short-Form Video

  • Lead the short-form video approach across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Develop ideas, scripts, interview structures, and recurring series.
  • Collaborate with editors to create content designed for attention, retention, and sharing.
  • Test and improve creative formats based on performance data.

Long-Form Video

  • Produce customer stories, founder stories, provider spotlights, documentaries, and educational pieces.
  • Conduct interviews and film on location when needed.
  • Transform raw footage into polished, engaging long-form narratives.
  • Build an evergreen content library that continues to deliver value over time.

What You Bring

You should have a track record of building audiences through storytelling and creating content people genuinely watch, share, and remember. You know how to uncover strong stories, shape them effectively, and distribute them through modern platforms.

You are comfortable both behind the camera and in the editing process. You can lead interviews, coach on-camera talent, shape a narrative, and work side by side with editors to elevate the final product. You are willing to do whatever it takes to make the work excellent.

You understand how to make people care. You can turn a founder’s idea, a customer experience, or a complex business topic into content that builds emotional connection and inspires action.

You are a highly skilled video storyteller with deep experience in both short-form and long-form formats. Whether it is a 30-second social clip, a founder documentary, a customer story, or a webinar, you know how to build a structure that holds attention from beginning to end.

You have a strong eye for pacing, editing, framing, hooks, and narrative flow. You know what high-quality creative looks like and keep pushing until the work reaches that level.

You are intensely hardworking and understand that standout stories often require extra effort beyond standard hours. You are ready to travel, film, edit, iterate, and go beyond the basics to create work that stands out.
