Job description
About Suno
Suno is developing a new kind of creative entertainment platform focused on making music creation accessible to everyone. Its community ranges from casual users making songs for family and friends to award-winning artists using Suno Studio to produce chart-topping tracks.
The company operates in a fast-moving environment that rewards ownership, speed, and high standards. Team members work closely together, care deeply about craft, and help build a product used by millions of people to express themselves in entirely new ways.
Suno is one of the fastest-growing consumer entertainment companies and a leader in AI music. It is supported by major investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, Matrix Partners, Schroders Capital, and NVentures, the venture arm of NVIDIA.
Founded in 2023 by Harvard alumni with a shared love of music, the company has grown to 200 employees and has enabled more than 100 million people to create original songs. In 2026, it raised a $400 million Series D at a $5.4 billion valuation to keep advancing products that expand creativity and imagination.
Role Overview
This role sits at the center of Suno’s paid social growth efforts, where the creative itself drives performance. It is a hands-on editing position for someone who can turn raw footage into ads that grab attention on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social channels.
You will work with existing clips, creator-generated content, and captured footage, transforming them into multiple ad-ready versions designed to convert. This is not a production assembly role with prebuilt storyboards; you will contribute your own hooks, angles, and creative judgment, then move quickly through testing and iteration to identify what performs best.
Success in this position is tied to results. You will see how edits perform quickly and use those signals to refine future cuts. If you enjoy living in the edit timeline, thinking in hooks and retention, and getting work in front of a large audience quickly, this role is a strong fit.
What You Will Do
- Transform existing footage, creator clips, and raw recordings into ad-ready video versions for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, and similar platforms.
- Create strong opening hooks and maintain sharp pacing to keep viewers watching and encourage action.
- Contribute original ideas and creative directions instead of only executing predefined briefs.
- Build several variations of successful concepts to support ongoing creative testing.
- Use platform-native editing tactics such as captions, pattern interrupts, on-screen text, and motion graphics.
- Adapt edits to different aspect ratios and placements, including 9:16, 1:1, and 4:5, for Stories, Reels, and Feed placements.
- Use performance feedback to refine edits and expand on what is working.
- Maintain an efficient, organized workflow so new creative is consistently ready for testing.
Requirements
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong short-form video ads created for live Meta and/or TikTok campaigns.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, along with After Effects for motion graphics and CapCut for rapid editing.
- A solid understanding of direct-response creative principles, including hooks, angles, pacing, and the reasons an edit succeeds or underperforms.
- Demonstrated ability to produce many variations quickly while maintaining a high quality bar.
- A self-driven working style with the ability to identify gaps and contribute ideas independently.
- Experience editing native short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok across standard ad formats.
- Prior exposure to a consumer subscription app, a paid social growth agency, or a DTC/ecommerce brand is helpful.
- Comfort interpreting metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, and CTR and using them to improve creative decisions.
- Willingness to incorporate AI tools into the creative process to work more efficiently.
- Interest in music and awareness of culture is a plus.
Compensation
This is a contract position paid at $70 to $90 per hour, with the exact rate based on experience. The expected workload is about 20 to 40 hours each week.
Additional Notes
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
