About the Role
The Atlanta Gladiators are looking for a resourceful and meticulous Off-Season Video Editor to rejuvenate footage from past seasons into captivating video content. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand a sports video editing portfolio while gaining practical experience within a professional sports enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft short-form videos tailored for platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X.
- Transform existing game footage into compelling content suited for the off-season period.
- Develop video materials for the Atlanta Gladiators’ website, email promotions, game-day presentations, and marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to significant creative ventures such as season highlight reels, motivational clips, ticketing promotions, and special campaigns.
- Maintain and organize the video asset library efficiently.
- Keep abreast of social media trends and creatively adapt these using archived footage.
- Work collaboratively across departments to shape creative ideas and content strategies.
- Adhere to project timelines while upholding the brand identity of the Atlanta Gladiators.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of short-form social media video content and awareness of current digital trends.
- Skillful storytelling through video editing, including pacing, audio selection, and graphic integration.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Capable of working autonomously and communicating clearly within a remote work setup.
- A passion for sports, hockey, or live entertainment events is a plus but not mandatory.
