About the Role
This executive leadership position is for a Vice President of Sales, based in the United States, responsible for driving revenue growth across a multi-platform media network. The role involves overseeing the entire sales organization, developing strategy, and ensuring effective execution in both regional and national markets. You will collaborate with senior leadership to expand advertising and sponsorship partnerships, enhance market position, and accelerate business performance. Accountabilities
- Achieve and surpass advertising and sponsorship revenue targets for a diverse range of digital media products and platforms.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline management to deal negotiation, forecasting, renewals, and client retention.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, holding companies, and key strategic partners at the executive level.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate and implement revenue strategies for local, regional, and national markets.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed sales team, promoting accountability, high performance, and professional development.
- Implement robust processes for forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management to ensure consistent revenue generation.
- Optimize sales methodologies, pricing structures, product packaging, proposals, and marketing materials to increase success rates.
- Work closely with client success, operations, and marketing departments to refine offerings and maximize customer value.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new avenues for growth.

Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in digital media, advertising, or sponsorship sales, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals.
- Over 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity, managing successful sales teams across multiple locations or regions.
- Significant expertise in managing sales within multi-market and network environments, including regional and national advertising initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience selling advertising solutions across audio, podcast, video, digital, or integrated platforms.
- A strong ability to translate commercial strategies into practical, scalable sales processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks.
- Exceptional skills in building relationships and an established network of contacts within the advertiser, brand, agency, and industry sectors.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to articulate compelling value propositions to executive audiences.
- Proficiency in advanced forecasting, budgeting, CRM administration, and sales operations.
- Experience utilizing AI-powered tools to enhance prospecting, research, proposal creation, and overall sales efficiency.
- A history of success in coaching, developing, and advancing sales talent.
