Role overview
The organization is hiring a Vice President of Sales based in Ludhiana. This is a senior revenue-focused role reporting to the Director. The position is centered on generating business through large accounts, guiding sales growth across India, and leading sizable sales teams. The role carries both individual and team sales targets.
What you will do
- Build and execute sales strategies to drive year-on-year revenue growth.
- Contribute inputs to the company’s marketing direction and overall go-to-market approach.
- Prepare sales and marketing budgets, develop forecasts, and turn them into actionable sales plans.
- Act as a key decision-maker for revenue growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities with small and large corporate accounts and convert client needs into sales.
- Develop business in both existing and new markets across India through direct effort and team leadership.
- Position products effectively in the market and monitor competitors to expand market share.
- Build, train, motivate, and lead sales teams across regions.
- Track performance at both broad and detailed levels and improve team effectiveness.
- Strengthen client relationships, especially with large accounts, and grow the customer base.
- Support retention of major customers and coach the team on retention practices.
- Encourage cross-selling across the organization’s service basket and upselling to existing customers.
- Work in a target-driven environment with responsibility for self-generated and team-generated revenue.
Experience and fit

Preferred industry background
Exposure to chemicals, paint, lubricants, cutting tools, packaging, anti-corrosion solutions, or VCI products is preferred.
