Role Overview

The Vice President of Programme Delivery & PMO will be responsible for creating and expanding a high-caliber Programme Delivery function within the Global Capability Centre (GCC). The initial focus will be on managing service transitions, subsequently advancing into leading strategic transformation initiatives across Global Business Services (GBS). The role demands ensuring consistent delivery quality, robust governance, and measurable business outcomes. This executive will cultivate organizational capacity, manage multifaceted cross-functional projects, collaborate with senior leaders, and shape the future Programme Delivery framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct complex service transitions into the GCC ensuring smooth mobilization, stabilization, and achievement of benefits.
• Deliver strategic transformational initiatives punctually, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Serve as the senior authority overseeing cross-functional, non-routine projects.
• Develop and scale a comprehensive Programme Delivery team and capability within the GCC.
• Create delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, tools, and operational models.
• Maintain a pipeline of strategic programmes beyond initial transitions.
• Manage portfolio planning, prioritization, dependency mapping, and capacity allocation.
• Oversee executive governance with effective reporting, milestone tracking, risk management, and benefits realization.
• Embed continuous improvement and best practices across all programme delivery activities.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align and execute business priorities.
• Lead change management, communication efforts, and stakeholder engagement for successful adoption.
• Establish trusted partnerships with customers and business leaders.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performance Programme Delivery team.
• Promote a culture emphasizing accountability, teamwork, and continuous professional growth.
• Partner with Service Management units to provide seamless customer experience across India and Poland GCCs.

Essential Experience

• Over 12 years of leadership experience in programme delivery, transformation, transitions, GBS, Shared Services, or GCC environments.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, multi-country, and multi-disciplinary transformational or transition projects.
• Experience operating within complex, highly matrixed multinational corporations.
• Strong abilities in executive stakeholder management, influence, and leading change.
• Proficiency in managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Commercial acumen combined with a strong customer-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in establishing or scaling GCCs.
• Experience leading portfolios spanning multiple countries or business functions.
• Relevant certifications including PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, MoP, or P3O.
• Industry experience in Aerospace, Engineering, Manufacturing, or similarly complex global entities.
• Operational leadership tenure within GBS or Shared Services organizations.
